I've read somewhere on here about papya and meat tenderizer. Is it just papya juice? and the meat tenderizer, do you just mix it with water or what? I'm getting all of my things I'll need post-op. I want to be fully prepared for any mishaps. Thanks

You can get papaya enzyme tablets that you chew at the health food store, Whole Foods, Trader Joe's places like that. pineapple juice is said to work as well. I bought a multi pack of the little 6oz cans.

As far as meat tenderizer goes, this is from Sunshine 2's doctors brochure:

If it has not pass after a few minutes, use the following to help:

Mix 1/2 teaspoon of meat tenderizer, 1 oz Water, and 1 tsp lemon juice, mix well and sip.

i heard that you only want to do the meat tenderizer in an absolute emergency because it is nasty!!!
