Holy Steak & Potatoes - 6 days till

I'd be fibbing if I said I wasn't a little nervous about this surgery. Not the surgery itself, but rather what is to come after the surgery. You have a certain relationship with food for 40 years....then....BAM!.....here's an ounce of tuna! Enjoy! Does your attitude really change so drastically - so quickly?

Just remember everyone is different. Listen to your body. Protein first. Eventually, it will become " normal". Some people are able to tolerate some of their favorites (though at a much smaller portion) others not at all. Some don't even try to tempt fate. Only you know you. Dig deep and listen to yourself. What is most important to you?

It's really hard to get used to it. Honestly I don't miss too many foods but I do miss some that we can't have and I am afraid to eat some others. I think you learn as you go too!
