How is everyone doing who has gastric sleeve this month?

I had sleeve surgery on July 6. I think that makes me 10 days post op. I have had a mix of emotions in that time. I was surprised by my lack of energy. My son gave me his cootie germs and they have settled in my chest. I am not getting on the scales until my two week date. I was kind of expecting the weight to just fall off and my clothes to become at least somewhat loose. However, I guess between the bloating and gas, that doesn't necessarily happen.

Hi yall !

I was sleeved on 7-23 and am soft foods but really have little to no desire to eat. I have still not been able to get in all my Protein or liquids in for any given day. It's tough...but I am trying. Tonight I have a bit of a headache and dehydration is always in my mind. debating on getting an IV.. but I keep telling myself it's not that severe. I went back to work pt this week and am pretty tired and I do get foggy a bit.

I am down 28 pounds..on the positive side and have been able to walk 20 mins a day ..on the days I have some energy.

Losing has become slow going for me. But I'm trying to track what I eat and incorporate exercise when possible. Unfortunately due to smoke from the many nearby fires, outdoor exercise has been hampered.

I've not hit my protein requirements even once since going to purée foods. I just can't face the shakes any more. Blood test this week and meeting with surgeon and dietician beginning of next week. Looking forward to chewing!!
