What do folks think about Costco's Kirkland Adult Multivitamin gummies? I bought them yesterday and like the taste much better than Centrum chewables.< /p>

You're supposed to take 2/day.

I was told NO gummies. Maybe you are further out than I am, but they are too hard on the sleeve. Bariatric fusion are chewable.< /p>

My NUT recommended Flintstones Complete. You have to make sure it's the ones that say Complete. They have everything you need.

I use a Gummy for my B12. And I use the bariatric Creamy Bites Calcium - the chocolate tastes just like candy.< /p>

Get my Vitamins from my Bariatric clinic. Told to take 3 a day. Blood draw every three months and they examine the results closely. They know right off the bat if you aren't taking them by the results of the blood test. I assume vitamins from the drug store would work as well but I wouldn't have any idea how many to take to equal what the Clinic wants me to have. A month supply is $25.

I take Vita4Life and I’ve always had amazing labs. They make quality supplements and their prices are so good. Not everyone can take a capsule like I do, but I was speaking to someone there the other day when I placed my order, and they’re coming out with chewables shortly. I believe she said they estimate 1-2 months. You may want to check them out if you’re looking for a chewable?

As for hair loss, it’s a tough one. Your Hair loss is due to telogen effluvium. It is caused when your body has been shocked by trauma, in this case -- surgery. Essentially, up to 30% of your hair goes in to the resting phase, and then falls out. It's temporary and will grow back. I didn't go through it after my surgery thankfully but not everyone does. I took Vita4Life Hair, Skin and Nail formula and their Multi-Standard formula since the second week post-op. I don't know if I can credit no hair loss to that, or to just being one of the lucky ones but I believe the supplements do work. If I were you, I'd space any supplements you take out over taking them all at once. Good luck. I'll link you the supplements so you can take a look at what I've been using. My labs have been spot on for years thanks to these.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

I may have to have gall bladder surgery during my weight loss surgery. Not thrilled about it either but do not want 2 recovery times. Just want it over with.

Thanks for your post. I may need to rethink my decision... :(
