  3. I am 13 days post op and I have only lost 5lbs. I am soooo discouraged. I am very blessed that I haven't had any complication. I am on puree food and I have no problem getting in my protein, but the scale hasn't moved. I am so sad
  4. I need help. Can anyone tell me what's a good flavorless protein powder I can put in my yogurt, soup &etc... I'm 6 days post op and I need to start getting some protein in.
  5. Surprisingly I feel good. No nausea, no pain & no stomach cramps. My heart rate and blood pressure is elevated though so they are keeping me an extra day. Anyone else have this problem after surgery?
  6. Today is Day#2 post-op an I am doing pretty well. No pain, no gas discomfort, no nausea and I an able to keep down watery and apple juice. My heart rate & blood pressure is running high though. I had to go to radiology and perform that test to see if I hag a leak but everything went well. Hopefully I'll go home today. @@luvtie it will start feeling better everyday after today

  8. CocteauJ, I believe that your husband is just scared for you. Maybe it's due to lack of knowledge. It's evident that your weight don't bother him. Which is a good thing because you know he love you just the way you are now. But educated him on the risk of obesity. Let him know how it feel to be the size you are now and what limitations you are experiencing because of it. Talk to him. I pray that everything work out and he come around. If not, you have a great support system here and we got your back

  17. You sound like me. Most of all I hate shopping for clothes. That's when depression set it. But on July 21st that will all change for me. I'm happy I finally chose to take this journey.
