Aetna POS II revision criteria?

What was your approval process like with Aetna? I'm just starting my journey to get rid of this awful band giving me reflux and only lost 25lbs since 2008. Were u made to do a 3 month diet again? I would love to hear your approval stories and how long it took you!

I had my band in 2011 and lost 47 lbs but started having pain in my port and getting really bad acid reflux so they took most of the fluid out and I gained 30 lbs back. I had to do the 3 month diet, psych evaluation, & physical therapy all over again. I had my last nutrition appt April 10th & was finally approved for revision by Aetna May 22nd. ????
