Hey there September sleevers! Any one out there?

Recommended Posts

I am 3 weeks post op and -20 pounds since surgery. Before surgery I lost 14 pounds. I am excited to be able to eat some foods again! And have way more energy now that I am on soft foods. Glad to be getting thru this process successfully! How is everyone else?

I'm 55. I've done great. My biggest problem is that I'm totally uninterested in food. I have to remind myself to eat.

I understand that, I set reminders in my phone. It helps! :)

Surgery was 3 weeks ago today and down 11.2lbs. I've got reminders in my phone for eating, Vitamins, Calcium & gall stone meds! I don't mind the alarms all day, because I feel fantastic! Loving my new sleeved life!

I'm down 25 since September 2nd. It's amazing! I actually have some trouble eating anything other than soft foods. It feels like it gets stuck after a few bites in my chest. I love cottage cheese and Dannon fit 'n light Greek Yogurt. The vanilla coconut is delicious, only 80 calories and high Protein. I've tried salmon and shrimp. Maybe I'm eating too fast odd. Love my sleeve! I started to work out this past week. I can't wait to get to onederland!

Hi everyone! I just thought I would pop in and see how everyone is doing so far?

I am feeling great.

scale is under the bed (it messes with my head)

I don't know about the rest of you but I am really looking forward to the new year!

I am sorry that I don't come in here often but the September Sleevers FB group keeps me pretty busy.

If you want to join for support shoot me a message.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
