Thanks guys !!! That means a lot to me ???????? .... I feel free here to say what I'm doing, what I'm going through. Without being judge. I recently told my Best friend of 20 years. And she is not supportive at all. @notofthefaint @@perk4756

I don't think any of us plan to leave. ???? I haven't told most people. My husband is supportive. My mom is totally against it. The only other people I've told are my husband's cousins. He just got lap band, and she's going to be sleeved, so I know they're on board. I'm sorry your friend isn't supportive. Sometimes people just don't understand.

I thought if I told her, and she'd understand me because she's a very understanding person. I can go ahead and tell my family friends coworkers... but NO!

It's okay... What I have learned through all of this is that people don't really want to see you at your best.

Is it just me or does anyone's weight fluctuates?? my weight fluctuates between five and 6 pounds every day.

Hello everyone,

I don't post on spotlight, so I don't know most of you. But someone told me about this new board and I love the idea.

Anyway - my name is Erika and I live in Houston. I was banded by Dr. Spivak on 9/30/02 and I've lost about 96 lbs. I say about because I saw 198.5 a few weeks ago but rebounded to 204 and have been plateau'd ever since. But I still count 198.5 as my weight!

I have about 50 lbs more to lose and hope to get there in the next 6 months or so. But am trying to be calm about it.

I'm really looking forward to getting to know you all.

my weight can go up and down like a rollercoaster!

I'm very excited to move on into this chapter of my life, considering i've been overweight since BIRTH. haha :)

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
