How do make your Protein coffee? I tried adding protein powder to mine one time and it separated and was NASTY!

I use the whey protein from Walmart (vanilla) and slpenda and because the coffee is hot it mixes very well. If I get a small clump, I take the spoon and push it on the side of the cup and it dissolves. I use the rest in a shake or in my oatmeal or cottage cheese.< /p>

It is so strange about my fill cause at first I was tight and then I could eat a little more and all of sudden it's really tight. It's not too tight, it's that I am greedy.

I have read on here that sometimes the cold can have something to do with it tighten up.

How much protein powder do you put in the coffee? I may have tried to use way too much.

Sorry your band is tight! I've never had that problem, so I don't know what to tell you.

GG, I put about 2 tsps in it or I might a little bit more sometimes. I fill the scoop up and measure out from it. I meant to tell you that when you are putting it in your coffee to spinkle in it and maybe it won't clump. Try it it with 1 or 2 spoonfuls and see how you like it. Don't forget to use the rest of what's left in your scoop in oatmeal or something. Then at least you've had 26 grams and if you want a shake(26 g) later that's already 52 grams plus what other Proteins you eat. I had to make sure I get it in cause my hair started to thin. I'm 2 yrs out and my band doc said that sometimes 2 yrs out your hair will start to thin again. Mine never did when I first got the band so I guess it's making up for lost time:smile:.

Hope I was some help for you. Oh, this fickle band of mine, but I love it and know that I would have never lost or kept this weight off had it not been for it or God.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...
