Green smoothies on pre-op diet...anyone?

Great question. I'm not allowed fruits during my pre-op phase. Would like to try out my new nutri-bullet but liquid spinach just doesn't sound good.

Nope. I was only allowed clear liquid.

Nope, mine is pretty strict. Most green smoothies have fruit or agave nectar or honey or something else to sweeten them. That would effectively ruin the point of the pre-op diet. Just suck down the protein shakes like the rest of us... :)

I make my own smoothies water, spinach, 1/2 banana, stevia, protein powder, frozen strawberries or blueberries. This is prior to my pre-op liquid diet, which I am only required to do for 3 days.
