February Sleevers - how are you doing?

I want to see how everyone is doing and see if you were having the progress you were hoping for. What kind of ups and downs, scale and n on-sale victories, typical meals, exercise and overall sense of well-being.

As for myself...SW 254, DOS 242, CW 221. I walk an hour 5 days a week, consume 650 to 800 calories a day, and have lost 65 inches combined in 17 total measurements. The jeans I couldn't hardly button and muffin topped finally fit like they should (a little loose in parts). I'm noticing and friends and family are noticing. I'm so glad I was able to have the surgery. Please share your progress!

I had surgery 2/11. Date of surgery weight 230, current weight 209. I have a very hard time still getting to 600 calories daily. I get my protein in, but struggle to get my fluids. I work out 5 times a week for 30 minutes. Doc won't let me do more until I increase calories. Is anyone else struggling with calories?

@@Bruce PeterThats a lot of meat! Did you eat it pureed in the beginning? I had surgery in February and I still can't eat a whole scrambled egg.

Never pureed. Just cooked slowly in a slow cooker so it's good and moist/ I chew it well and take my time. I'm able to get maybe 2-3 oz down at a sitting

I make soups with meat in it so I can get in more than one ounce. Lol Im not sure I could eat it otherwise. Ground is def easier. I forgot about cottage cheese. Ill pick some up tonite!

And I cant eat scrambled eggs yet either. Makes NO sense. They r soft. Lol But I have seen a lot of folks have a hard time with them. We r not alone haha

FYI todays intake

3 eggs scrambled with a tsp of butter

lunch turkey sausage crumbles about 1.25 cup

dinner roasted chicken thigh

Snacks ( I eat about 6 ties a day)

greek yogurt 1 cup

no sugar added mandarin oranges (mixed with the yogurt)

low fat cottage cheese 1.25 cup

two small slices of swiss cheese

total calories 1270

protien 105 grams: 39%

carbs 55 grams: 17%

fat: 44%

Old habits die hard- I was sleeved 2/26 and have lost almost 18 pounds the first month. My father is in the hospital and I was taking my granddaughter to see him. I stopped by Popeye's (chicken place) to pick up food for my mother, grand and myself. I ordered a four piece chicken meal and a surf and turf meal. What the hey-hey was I thinking? My granddaughter wasn't interested in anything. I ate 3 little shrimp and probably 6 fries and was full. My mother ate the rest of the surf and turf. The chicken meal I sent home with her. In the past, I would've eaten two pieces of chicken an entire thing of fries and probably part of the other meal. It truly did NOT dawn on me that there was no way I was going to be able to eat that much, and it's spicy to boot.
