April Sleevers! Where are you at in your Journey?

Hello!! I am looking for some fellow April Sleevers for some encouragement during this time!

Where is everyone at during their new journey?

I am getting my surgery date right after I finish my second Pysch Eval Beginning of April :)

I can not wait! I have already started replacing meals with Protein as suggested by my NUT I had a rough day yesterday after about 2 weeks or a little less of it but today I feel fantastic!!

Today's Journey for Me

15 oz of Water

2 Popsicles

Drank not even half of my Campbell's soup.

Walked 2x for 20 min each

Only took Gasx once

I haven't started on my vitamins yet. My Dr said to try tomorrow. So tomorrow will be day 3, so I will try the pureed food. We shall see.

My surgery was Thursday and I can have my vitamins starting today (my vitamins are dissolvable). I am on liquids only until I see the surgeon for my follow up, next week.

Every surgeon is different, there is a surgeon in my area that is much less conservative than mine as far as the post op diet. Ithink I should be able to start my vitamins by day 2 or 3 post op and they are chewable.

I guess my surgeon is cautious. Hes just about getting enough liquid in at first. Which im struggling with

You were right it is too early for the puree. IDK what I was thinking. But I did look over my paperwork and I'm suppose to start my vitamins tomorrow. Thanks for keeping me in check.

I can't wait to have puree thursday. Damn broth.

Omg...I sooooo agree!! I'm not necessarily hungry for anything in particular, I am just ready to have some more options.

Well, I was just scheduled for my surgery. April 16. Holy crap. Is there anyone out there heading for this surgery that is only 85% sure of actually wanting it? My surgeon does no pre-op diet either. Anyone else in that boat?

I'm around 90% sure I want this. I've done everything except my ECG (this afternoon) and my pre-op appointment. My thoughts change constantly from "I want/need this" to "omg, what am I doing?"

My surgeon doesn't do a pre-op diet either, but I have been substituting shakes to get used to them. My date is April 27 and I still have 5 lbs left to lose.

I'll be going into surgery in about an hour. NERVOUS. But very hopeful.

I know all will go well but I am sending prayers up on your behalf!! Remember to get up and walk as soon as possible afterwards to reduce the gas pain!

Hello All, I am new to this site as it was suggested by the lady that processed my insurance paperwork at the hospital. My surgery date is April 16th and I am a little nervous and a little excited. It seems like it took forever and yet no time at all to get here!
