  4. 245 starting, 186 was my lowest, never hit goal weight of 175, now I'm 203. My weight came in platues starting about Dec 2016. I was weighing everything and wasn't losing and then realized its b/c the meds I'm on for back spasms. My Dr. Doesn't believe its my meds. And when i try to get off of them on my own, the pain returns. So I'm sort of lost and don't weigh b/c I don't think it will make a difference. Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app

    Thanks everyone. I'm at a year and a half and really am tired of maintaining. I want to get to my goal I set for myself in 2015. I'm going to try to start tomorrow, I say that because I haven't done any shopping yet. Ya'll keep it up and let's keep motivating each other.

  11. You are the woman getting in 3 Protein Shakes. I can only do 1. I never even had bandages. This glue stuff was amazing. I never thought to ask about what the Dr. was going to use beforehand.
  12. Ladies! Let me tell you!!! Today I'm off so I decided to make a smoothie. I figured it was going to be alot but i could sip throughout the morning. So my smoothie included: 8 oz Almond Milk 1 scoop Unflavored Protein powder 1 banana 4 Strawberries After 3 sips, I felt fullness!! Ooh I like!!! I walked away did some chores and came back and sipped again. FULLNESS!!! So about an hour and half later it was time for food, so I measured out 1/4 c. chicken salad. With my 1st Baby spoon. I still felt the FULLNESS! OOH I WANT TO KEEP THIS FEELING! IDK if it was the shake or what, but this is what i always want to feel like. Instead of the bottomless pit. So I'm going to continue the shake for a few days and see what happens. :-)
  13. I was sleeved 1 April and the only time I felt any restrictions was in the hospital. Now I feel I can just eat, but I'm trying to do good. I haven't experienced hiccups, but sometimes it feels like air trapped traveling up. Or if I haven't chewed something well enough, once I swallow it feels like rocks hitting rock bottom. Not feeling this restriction makes me constantly feel that my pouch is stretched. I hope I feel it soon.
  14. Today's meal plan B Premier shake L Pinto Beans D chicken salad 20oz Water I think today I could of done better, especially getting in at least 5 meals. But I was so busy at work, I didn't know if I was coming or going. Ooh and on a weird note. My last glue binding over my incision came off today. I'm pretty excited about that. Who had staples and who had glue? How's everyone feeling today?
  15. @@brandnewme2015 I could only wish I felt that way. I wish I knew the size of my pouch. I wish they would an x-ray or something and show me. I hope it gets better for you.

    Hunger pains and lack of liquids.... That makes since. I'm only getting about 31 oz of liquid per day. I need more liquids!!!!!!
  18. I know how you feel! If I eat something bad or something that doesn't agree with me my stomach gets extremely loud! Looking back I realize the bypass would have been better for me because I have to really re-learn self control with the sleeve. Self control I thought I had! Just take it one day at a time. I have bad days where I graze and then bad water days where I barely get in a liter but I try to look at all of my good days and remember how creating many more good days wills help me get healthy. Right now focus on creating good habits and keep in mind slip ups may happen. We are not perfect. It'll be okay. I really sat down and took a look at my problem with food and why I felt like I have to compulsively eat/binge. Its easier said than done but it takes practice. @fitforlife123 Thank you for the reassurance that things will be fine. I had one buddy look at my myfitnesspal diary and she saw where I was eating too many simple carbs and suggested that could be why I'm hungry. So I'm going to include Protein with each meal and see how that goes for a few days. Wish me luck. Thanks again the Pep Talk. :-)

  20. @ brandnewme!! There's my GIRL!! Welcome!!! I'm glad you came over to the Dark side! HA! A little Star Wars Humor! Great work on the liquids. I don't get that much. Is this all Water or a mix of different things? I'm about at the same level on protein. Now as far as eating, I think I'm eating too much. I'm scared. So I'm trying to retrain my stomach and brain again. I think b/c I haven't had a follow up with my Dr yet, I'm just winging it and messing up. So that's why I need yall.
  21. 1st WELCOME @@pictureitall 2nd Thanks for checking this thread out. I can only get about 22oz of Water per day. Anything more makes me nauseous. I really do miss more water. I do try to have a Protein shake a day. But that's all my liquids. And since surgery I haven't had any type of soda or coffee. I definitely drank both daily. So right now I keep telling myself I will treat myself to one of them when I get below 200 lbs. :-) This week I actually started to feel hungry which worried me alot. I was able to eat a whole packet of Cream of Wheat without any problems. But I don't want to do that again. I'm scared about stretching my pouch and that a MAIN reason I started this thread. When I was able to get track with others who had surgery on the 1st, I never seemed hungry. Now it seems my stomach is talking to my backbone. So let's make this WLS work for us!!!
  22. How far along are you? I'm 20 days Post-op and I still can't drink more than 22oz of Water a day.
  23. April 2015 Sleeve Accountability Group A new thread, come check it out!!! :D Not sure what happened we are only 2 weeks out. This thread is more for those getring ready or just had surgery. That's what it sems to me. Do yall think we should start an April Accountability group. There we can talk about our daily meal plans and a weekly weigh in?Agree, think maybe we should start a new thread.. I'll do it once I get on a computer. Normally I do everything from my cell. Lol.
  24. I'm scared, I feel like I'm eating too much and my pouch may be expanding. I've been under 1,000 calories, but I'm honestly hungry and my stomach talking to me. I can't feel up on water b/c to much water makes me nauseous. I want to cry. I'm 21 days Post-op.
