  1. Where are you from? Where are you from?
  2. Our struggle has been something we've dealt with our whole lives, we can't change over night. And just because you have a set back doesn't mean you are bad or a failure. It just means you are Human and just the way God made you.
  3. Hello All, this will be brief. I'm scheduled for surgery 1 April as well. I'm not too nervous but I've had a bad headache for the past 2 days. I guess tension. The worst part is I can't take any meds for it. So right now I'm just ready for surgery and meds to help this pain go away. I hope to chat with you all after surgery. Best of luck to you all.
  4. My sleeve is tomorrow, 1 Apr. Right now I'm not nervous, my biggest thing is a Tension Headached. I can't take any meds for it, so I'm struggling. I'm just so ready for the procedure and meds to help get rid of this headache. I've had it 2 days now. Congrats on everyone getting their dates. I'll try to post after my surgery.
  5. Well tomorrow is my surgery day. Wish me luck.
  6. Tomorrow is our day. My surgery is scheduled for 11:15 am. What about yours?
  7. I'm a bread and pasta gal myself. And part of my weight is stress related. I'm not too sure of anything saltly. I didn't have to do 2 weeks of liquids. I actually start my liquids on Monday. I think I would of gone nuts if I had to do it for 2 weeks. Have you done any shopping yet?
  8. Hi Everyone, I'm having my Sleeve done on 1 April, and I'm looking for people who will be having surgery the same day. I want a group where we are all going through the same thing at the same time. Here we can talk about: - Pre-Op To Do's - Grocery List for After the surgery - Vitamin Intake - Concerns - Post-Op Journey - Success - And anything that will help us with our journey. I hope to meet some long lasting friends that understand our Struggle.
  9. Can we mention where we are from so that we can ensure we don't pick a pen pal from the same area?
  10. I'm thinking of trying the chicken has well. My surgery is now 1 Apr.
  11. Well I found out today my surgery date is now 1 April instead of the 3rd. Even knowing this, I'm having problem wrapping my head about it.
  12. That's how I feel. I can't help it.
  13. I'm scheduled for 3 April. I'm getting nervous. Has anyone started shopping for their liquids and soft food?
  14. Hi All, I'm scheduled to be sleeved on the 3rd of April. Anyone on the 3rd?

  16. @ Crosby, either way I could be discharged. I've almost tried everything besides Crack and the weight isn't going anywhere. So if I don't do this, I will get discharged for failure to meet Height and Weight. If I go through with the WLS, then I just have to pray no one finds out so I can keep my job and have better health. So again, if I do or don't go through with it I can be discharged.
  17. I'm in the Military. They believe I won't be able to eat proper if I were deploy, so it is authorized. Isn't authorized. Sorry
  18. I'm planning on having WLS, and it is frowned upon in my profession. So I won't be telling anyone at work... BUT what should I say when I'm asked what have I done for my WL?
