Thanks for the replies' date=' Leigha, Jen and Kelsey. :)

It's nice to have because you don't have to plug in your BB to see how much you've burned during the day. I find it to be a great motivator. It will tell you how many calories you are burning per minute so it motivates me to bump up the intensity because I like to watch ALL the numbers jump up. Now that I have it I would be lost without it. You also don't have to wear it as a watch. It comes w/ a clip that you can use to attach it to your clothes, maybe even on your bra/sports bra where no one can see it. It's not bad looking but it's also not the most stylish looking thing, either. :) I do wear mine as a watch, though. Doesn't matter to me either way. :tt2:[/quote']

Can the watch be used as a watch? Does it have a function that would have like a second hand on it. I am a paramedic and i have to count pulses and such. Need to know if it has seconds on it...

It functions as a really basic watch-- but won't work for what you want. It doesn't show seconds at all-- which frankly, surprises me. You'd think it would have a stopwatch, etc, like my Timex sport watch does.

So you'd have to wear your regular watch, and clip this on somewhere else. (I typically wear mine on my waist band, like a pedometer.)

okays thanks for the reply! Does it matter what arm or side of your body you wear it on?

The digital display can be worn anywhere (within a certain distance of your body bugg). Anywhere on your body is fine.

Ok....excuse my newby BB-ness....LOL....So do most of you upload the data from the BB to the computer at night? Like after you eat dinner or what? When do you do it?

my husband got it to load on his laptop....my operating systems must not be up to par! Funny thing is...I can access the website just fine on mine...weird.

My latest question is...when to upload the info? At night before I go to bed? When do you do it?

I upload when I remove my BB, just before bedtime. I am not wearing mine at night obviously. You can also upload first thing in the morning, I just change the day to "yesterday" so it records on the right day.

, I just change the day to "yesterday" so it records on the right day.

You don't even need to do this... it already knows what date you did what activity (I think it can store 14 days or so worth of data). It'll upload (to the right date) whatever you've done since last time you uploaded. Then you can click "yesterday" or pick a specific date to see your calorie burn, steps, activity on any day you choose. But you don't need to pick the day before you upload.

I tend to upload mine in the evening... but anytime is good. You can do it 3 times a day, if you want! One good thing about doing it early is that it shows you a projected calorie burn if you planned to be sedentary for the rest of the day. So if I exercise in the morning, then upload my data, it will show me what it thinks I would burn for the rest of the day if I chose to sit on the couch until bedtime (which I don't do...). This is the light blue bar that extends past your "calories burned" bar. If you put your mouse over that light blue bar it will show you the projected burn (in calories).

My GoWearFit arrived yesteerday and I already love it! I had it delivered to work and I had it up and going in no time at all! I was able to install it on both my work and home computer so I can sync up either place. I work at a desk all day and I knew my daily activity level was low but it was still a little shocking just how low it is!

I was up bright and early thins morning and out to walk before it got too terribly hot and I've already met my activity goal for the day! Yippeeee!! That was the sweetest beep I've ever heard. I splurged and bought the display as well, I'm a visual person and it really helps me to have a constant reminder. I like that you can wear it as a watch, clip on your clothing and even keep it in your pocket. As long as it is within 3 feet of the armband it will communicate.

The food journal is really easy to use and most items I have found in their database or found something compatable until I have the time to put in the actual nutritional information.

Liftingchic, my display watch does not display seconds. I have spent most of my time on the website getting familiar and not much on the watch so it may have a mode that shows this that I have not discovered yet.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

I may have to have gall bladder surgery during my weight loss surgery. Not thrilled about it either but do not want 2 recovery times. Just want it over with.

Thanks for your post. I may need to rethink my decision... :(
