I'm home now. Got home last night. I'm having some heartburn and gas. Looking forward to getting back to 100%. I knew it wouldn't be easy. One hour at a time

Kool. !! Take it day by day every day in the books is a day easier and closer to your goals good luck and keep in mind everything worth having is only worth it because of the struggle to get it

@@Bonawanabfree I had mine yesterday and I feel awful! The fluid is not going to my stomach so I have to stay another day. Ugggh!! Well I hope we both get to feeling better soon. I am one who wants to be well and happy everyday! So this feeling sucks

@Nikkidoodlebug. I'm sorry things are rough right now. I'm home now and feeling a little better. My stomach feels like it's got a bubble in it. My sense of taste is totally off. Keep your chin up. You are stronger than you think.

@@Bonawanabfree and @@Nikkidoodlebug, hang in there!! It's very early still. Remember that this is major surgery and your body is working hard. Give yourselves the gift of rest!! Also remember that your doctor works for you! If you are struggling contact his office to see if there are meds/advice that can help. Also, take a look around this site -- there's lots of helpful tips. It WILL get better!!

Good luck!

Well last night around 11:00 pm they took me back to the O.R. And had to have a second surgery, my stomach was going up into my esophagus and that is why nothing could go down. So now I'm in hella pain because he had to suture my stomach down in place and loosen up the hernia he repaired the first surgery . So now I have a drain pump that I have to have for a week and then go back to have it removed. So has anyone had this happen to them. I just can't wait to feel better

@@Nikkidoodlebug I'm so sorry to hear about this. I'm glad that they found the cause and hope you feel better soon! Take care! I have had the drain on a couple other occasions for Thyroid cancer. While they look weird/gross...they didn't hurt and the surgeon removed mine without pain. The drain helps with keeping the swelling down so you can heal faster.

Thank you I feel a little better today so I will just take one day at a time!! Hope I can go back to work when I need to though, that's on the 25th so I just pray.

Hope your feeling better.
