It is normal for your period to be a little "off" right after surgery. I had my period six days after surgery even though it was three weeks earlier than my regular monthly period.

I am four months post op and didn't have a period for seven weeks straight. I actually don't miss it much, especially the cramps and bloating.

My period was a really weird one. It was only a day and it was light but I talk to my gyno and she said that is completely normal. One because you are losing weight super fast in most causes and also surgery is huge and it can throw your body off. couple of months it should be back to normal. I DEF don't mind not having mind right now!

I didn't miss a period after vsg but did after my gallbladder surgery. I think it just all depends on your body. Surgery is stressful on the body, and so is rapid weight loss. If you want to rule out pregnancy, go to the Dollar store and buy a test. Good luck!
