I have had problems with heavy flows and seemingly endless periods and my Dr. Put me on nuvaring instead of the pill. Now I barely bleed and when I do, it is just a few drops that I can use a super thin pad to catch. Hope your insurance covers it, but you can ask your dr about it.

I didn't miss a period after vsg but did after my gallbladder surgery. I think it just all depends on your body. Surgery is stressful on the body, and so is rapid weight loss. If you want to rule out pregnancy, go to the Dollar store and buy a test. Good luck!

I have been using Nivea's in-shower moisturizer on my body and face. I wash my face with a little bit of baking soda made into a paste. I have extra sensitive skin and face wash breaks me out and dries my face. You can also put about a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar in a condiment container with some warm water and spray your face with that. Sounds nasty but I swear it works on dry faces.
