I recently had a bad leak in my regular medium size four cc, band.

my surgeon caught it early and replaced it with one of the new small sized AP bands. He was able to work the band through my existing sutures. (hes very good)

im only about five days out, but i feel significantly different. I have perfect restriction so far (im only on purreed foods so far but start other soft foods this week).

im excited.

anyone else have the new ap band?

I am hoping to be banded in August of this year. Do you think all doctors will start using the 'new' band? I am really hoping so.

I thought you were going for the VG band? Can I ask what made you choose this one? It sounds smaller? Sorry, just curious.
