My Journey

Hello from Leesburg, GA. I am Denise, age 56. I am one week today post op lapband. I feel good but sore. I started strained Soups today. Looking forward to a pureed diet next weekend.

Besides extreme soreness, I have a dry cough after some meals. Anyone have this?

Looking forward to reading all your stories and interacting

Denise

Congratulations and welcome to the banded life!! Keep posting and take good care of yourself while you heal. We're all here for you!

I don't know if you've had a fill yet , but my dr told me that a cough can signal the band being too tight. I haven't had my surgery yet (11 days to go!), but I remember this being mentioned at my preop consult.
