I had my surgery 2/5. I've been on soft foods for a month. Anyone else not really enjoy eating anymore? Like 3 or 4 bites and I've got a belly ache. I eat slow and small bites and it just never settled right. :(

Will that get better???

I know the feeling about food! I am really starting to get good at making these amazing delicious healthy meals, and yet.... I can't seem to enjoy them much. I love eating so little... That is until I realize after several bites of this amazing meal I can't eat anymore. Also I chew my food really well and I have even started using an app on my phone that helps me space out my bites and even still every couple of meals I end up vomiting :( I know it will get better! And all in all I am so happy with everything just venting a bit too! Lol. I am lucky that liquids, with the exception of one night do not seem to bother me, hope it gets better for you!!

Sure! It's called "next bite" I found it in my iOS store. It's great you can set the timer to space your bites out as far as you want, I have my bites spaced out 90 sec.

hello, everyone! I go for my 6 week check up tomorrow. I think I'm down about 30 lbs? We will see tomorrow. Coming back to work really helped with speeding up my weight loss.I came back last week and I lost probably 5 lbs in just five days.

My question to all of you is some suggestions to vary my diet up.. I feel like I am stuck eating the same things for my "snacks"... greek yogurt or cottage cheese. I typically have a smoothie for Breakfast, lean turkey or chicken with veggies for lunch and about the same for dinner. I'm not worried about my meals, but the yogurt and cottage cheese is getting so old.... It's how I get in additional Protein so I can't really have veggies or fruit....

Any advise? What are you guys doing?

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
