  10. SW: 330 Pre-Op: 320 Current: 308 Goal: 165 Feeling really good except for pain once in a while in my left side. It's much better than it was! Confession...I've been not doing great the past 2 days with drinking my water. We are moving from KS to NY and with trying to get everything done I've been bad! But today, I've had my 3 kids "bugging" me about drinking my water! I love them so much! I am half way through my at least 64oz for the day!

  15. Are you feeling any better, Grlfrny? Thank you for asking Melanie36! Honestly the pain is still there. It subsides if I take extra strength Tylenol, but it's still there. I am back to taking my liquid pain meds before I go to bed so I can sleep in somewhat comfort. I said I would keep track of it and if after a month there's still the same pain I would call the doc and see what's going on.
  16. Thank you blperry91!!!!!!!
  17. Hi Everyone! I hope everyone's surgery went well! I had my surgery 2/25 and everything went really well! But now I'm having this pain in the lower left side of my abdomen. If I'm just sitting it's ok, but if I bend over, roll over in bed, just about anything and I have this nasty pain. It's quite weird because I'm still numb to the touch on my stomach (they severed some nerves) almost feels like stabbing or stretching on the inside. I asked the surgeon and he said "probably healing". Not that helpful, I didn't think healing was supposed to hurt. Is or has anyone else gone through this? If so, how long does it last?

  19. If Popsicles are working maybe try freezing some fruit flavored Isopure. You would be able to get in your protein that way. Or maybe "almost" freeze a protein shake.

  21. I have started freezing meals, so I can either throw them in the crockpot or in the oven and not have to worry. I have found some great freezer to crockpot recipes on Pinterest. I have also pre cooked bulk ground beef and put in freezer bags and froze them so if I need food in a pinch, it's ready quick.
  22. -highdesertblue- thank you for the advice! I will def be using some extra ice!

  24. Hi Everyone! I'm on my clear liquid pre-op diet now, have been for 6 days now (1 more week to go) and completely sick of everything I can have being too sweet, except for the chicken/beef broth. Anyone else out there having similar issues, and have some solutions?
  25. February 25th here! 1 week to go! I'm so excited! Congratulations to everyone who has had surgery already and Good luck to everyone who has surgery coming up!
