Got really far from the reservation this Holiday season

You know what happens when you don't stick to your meal plan, and not keep up with support groups (meetings or internet)? You end up going way, way off the bariatric reservation, that's what!

These past few weeks i have been very naughty about sugar, fatty foods and portion sizes. Made every excuse and rationalized my behavior with some pretty stupid reasons.

I attended the required support group meetings already, but I just checked the calendar for BSMC, and thankfully there is a meeting on the 14th -- it's seems so far away!

I haven't had my surgery yet, but I really need to re-focus my thinking to where it was when I began this journey.

For those of you who are sticking to your program, and even though you might have your struggles, you are an inspiration for me.

Good for you checking in! Besides the support groups, what are you doing to keep yourself accountable? Are you tracking your food? Many people use My fitnesspal. Are you exercising any? Even doing something as simple as taking a 30 min walk each day is helpful. It will also make your surgery easier.

Let's get back on track, you can do it!
