I'm in Aurora. So, there's 3 hours between us. Kinda hard to get together, but we can chat. :D

Sounds good to me! I would love that

We could almost start our own little "Illinois Residents" FB group. :)

I'm in Marshall, IL. I was banded November 2013, had major complications, so technically, I just got started in June.

Hello! And I could get so some also! Nice to meet you.. My name on Facebook is Tiffany Ballard. Feel free to friend request me. Also, lapband divas on Facebook is a great group as well. Do you use my fitness pal?

OK .. so I've started a FB group. It's called Gastric Banders in Illinois. My intention is for this to be a SAFE group for all of us. So .. come join me.
@@tiffball45 the thing required me to add someone, so I put you in it. I hope that's cool.

I saw that! Thank you! Great idea

I'm from Elgin. Banded on May 30, 2014. Glad to be through the holidays and get back on track.

Man .. the getting back on track is a bit of a PITA around here. All it took was Thanksgiving for my son and husband to decide that we needed to eat the way we used to. I've been fighting them on that since then.

Still trying to get back on track. Will have to go back to basics again and start writing things down. Next step find a new primary care Dr. that will be in my corner with me not against me. She was aganist my surgery from the start but came around when I got off all my meds. Just seen her for muscle and joint fatigue and here we go again threw the surgery in my face. Reminding me Its because of surgery that all this is happening and now I'm stuck the rest of my life with problems. So now I feel everytime I have a problem it will be because of surgery. I need a new Dr who will be in my corner. Wish surgeon was primary care. There's always going to be those people on the sidelines waiting to see me fail but I have to prove them all WRONG, and stop letting them get in my head. Have apt with Surgeon in 2 weeks for 9 month check and am up 10 lbs he will not be happy. Day one of back to basics. Yeah!
