How to prepare when trying to get pregnant

Hi,

So I am getting married in April and wanted to start trying to get pregnant around October/November. I am 8 years post surgery and down 130lbs. I have not had a fill in the past three years as well.

I wanted to know what steps I should take. I have heard by some people that you need to infill your band before starting to try or to keep everything in. Also, does your port pop out when your belly starts to get big.

I am terrified that they will make me take everything out because I know how fast the weight can come back. I also have an appointment next week with a high risk ob who has worked with many patients who have a band. Thanks!

You don't have to get an unfill unless you are having issues eating. I got half my fill out by choice bc I was swelling and having problems eating.

My port didn't stick out but I still had a lot of belly fat :)
