I just hit 40lb loss since first meeting with my doc back in May. I'm 7 weeks post surgery.
I've lost 40 lbs many, many times. It's when people usually start to notice the weight loss, start commenting on it, I get self conscious and start eating again, gaining it all back (and then some).
Today is exciting for me because I've never gotten past those 40 lbs. Now because of the sleeve, I have no choice but to move forward and continue to lose weight. Yay!! In a weird way I feel like my real weight loss starts now and I can't wait to lose the next 40, 80, ultimately 120 lbs!
