I know, I know, I'm a cop, EMT and seen many a nasty things. I just get uncomfortable with women and bodily functions.:frown: Oh well, what are you gonna do?

I suppose tampon conversations are not okay? Oh wait, we did talk about the Diva Cup.

What's left? Really?!

It's gorgeous outside. My babysitting gig for my pal was canceled so I'm able to ride. But...I have a head ache, ever so slight. Do I go or do I stay...it could get worse. It was worse, I took some tylenol (Who else misses ibuprofin?) and it's better, but it's not FANTASTIC.

Dear me. What a cunundrum.

I stayed away from that link. Figured it wasn't for me.:frown:

And, my I have to tell DW not to discuss those aspects with me. She likes to hint at it to make me squirm.

I hope you went riding you ass. It is going to hurt either way. At least enjoy yourself. I say that with all the love in my heart.

I got in almost 19 miles in a swift 1:18. 14.3 mph average, which is my new record. Woot.

Now I am back home watching the kids ride their bikes up and down the street. They just crashed into each other, which was hilarious once we realized no one was hurt. I heart my laptop.

The weather is still gorgeous, no sight of rain. I know it is coming but I am glad it has held out this long. Tomorrow I have spin class but a very busy schedule.

Miss Ibuprofen? Huh? I take it at least 2-3 times a week ... are we not supposed to take it now? WTF? I"m 10 months out and am just finding this out? WHat will happen?!?!?!?!

Awww... I LOVE to talk about poop, pee, farts, etc. Only vomit and sputum convos make me sick. Lol. Of course I'm a nurse, and I have 7 brothers... so I am kind of used to it all. Lol.

BG - OK... but WHY? Lol. I know Ibuprofen is hard on your stomach, but it goes through the band,m into the larger part of the stomach, so it doesn't stay in the smaller part... I guess I just don't get it? Tylenol is bad for your liver... Lol.

Oh and did I mention the two snakes I almost ran over? I am such a girlie girl when it comes to bugs and critters. I almost peed my pants when i realized those sticks were moving and that they were not sticks.

We are doing something called Woodstock. They have 30-50-100 mile routes. We are doing the 50. It's somewhere east of Columbus, so mostly flat. Columbus Outdoor Pursuits-COP, puts on the big mother's day ride, and they have many training rides before. This is one of them.

This time next year C will be riding with us, training for the mother's day ride. Her DH and DD will be riding it this year. Maybe C will SAG for them and I'll get to see her. She's not riding for some reason, surgery or something...having a band put in I think...

I might be down for something in July. Look and see what's out there.

You know it!!!! I'm looking forward to serving my fellow riders this year! Next year...LOOK OUT! LOL

Yeah...I'm gettin' my band. I'm totally over this liquid diet, although, it's weird. The longer I'm on it, the easier it is. lunch time at the hospital cafeteria isn't hard at all, in fact, I'm grateful not to have to eat what they've got! LOL

Oh my...I'm startin' to get nervous! The good kind of nervous...butterflies. Whoo...I am really excited!

J: Sorry about your aerobars. Bummer.

ZZ: Way to go on your weight loss!! Oh, and Poop and Pee and Puke and Snot and Pus don't bother me either!!!!! We nurses are so gross!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
