Like BG said, talk to your doc.

Also what the hell are you eating? Tone it down like no caffiene, tomatoes, onions, peppers, vinegar and other acidic things.

Enough with the praise the rest of y'all.

Oh, and tomorrow night, I'm taking BG out to a Queer Country Line Dance Competition Fund Raiser at a bar. Should be fun. I'll try to take pictures. heeheehee,

Before my phone decided to be an asshole earlier I was saying that I just recently started listening to country so I don't know the dances.

But I could be some excellent eye candy for the ladies.

J - Today I had a Protein Shake for Breakfast, 1/2 Fiber One Bar for snack, a handful of raw soy nuts for lunch, the other 1/2 of fiber opne bar for snack. Then I stpped on my way home to buy the Omeprazole and got a pint of plain vanilla ice cream hoping that would help my heartburn! And that is all I have eaten.

I never eat anything with onions, etc. Lol. I used to love hot stuff, like the buffalo sauce and stuff, but since the beginning of the band I haven't tolerated that stuff.

Anyone ever heard of flat Stanley? It is a book and my daughters class is doing a project on it. Here is a link to read about it if you have not heard of it. Flat Stanley - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia They want each student to send out Flat Stanley to 5 different people. Would anyone like to participate? If you want to participate you would get to host Stanley for a few days and then send him back with a note telling about his adventures while he was with you. You can include brochures, photos, postcards, etc regarding his visit. My daughter would really appreciate help in this project and we would be providing all the stamps, envelopes and such. All we need is your time.

Let me know if you are interested. Thanks!

ZZ,

I WYD said what I was thinking. Girl, you could do some damage if you don't get this looked at. BG had to get a slight unfil this past winter too.

Don't tough it out. You could hurt yourself. You're a nurse, be a patient. (did I spell that right?).

XO

Hi everyone! I GOT MY BAND!!!! I am still at the hospital, waiting for my doctor to come in and discharge me home. I'm a little painful at the port site, but what's worse is the itching I got from the Scopalamine patch (a little tiny patch behind the ear to ward of nausea). They've been feeding me Benadryl for hours now. Other than that I'm doing great! I got to see my band on fluoro....That was pretty neat!

I'll talk to you all later!

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
