Well, the anticipation is building, and the day I have been working towards for about a year now is almost here!!! Have to be at the hospital at 8:30 tomorrow morning!!! Feeling excited, and a bit nervous, but mostly just want to get through the surgery, and ring in the New Year with a new, healthier body!!! Leaving for the hotel in Boston now, across from the hospital. Here I go, off on a new adventure in my life!!! Good luck to everyone else!!! We got this!!! ???? ???? ????

I want to join the end of Dec 2014 sleevers! I had my surgery 12/30 and came home this am. Did a sub group get formed that I can be added to? 2015 is going to be awesome - this year I know the loose weight resolution is going to happen due to my new tool so I'm not alone!

Had surgery on the 30th. I had excellent care and other than soreness at the largest incision site things are going well. My stomach hurts after very little to drink or eat (yogurt only). But that is to be expected. After all my preparation and apprehension I'm starting my new journey.

Well this is day 3 of a new life. I actually feel pretty good this morning, thinking of a weak cup of decaf.the left side incision and that part of where my stomach was has been where the most pain was. all the other has been just squeakers. Hope everyone else is doing well too.

GNC Lean 25 shakes are my fave and it comes in various flavors. I bought the premixed ones, but you can buy the powder and make your own. I also had my sleeve on 12/30. I've been doing great, but had a rough night last night. Feeling better this morning.

@sweeteyes504...Thank You! I have hundreds of different crystal lites, I will start using them today. If the pain from my right incision would not be so, painful I would be OK but, right now I am regretting this surgery. ????

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...
