Merry Christmas. I wanted to check-in and see if you have received your approval. I found out last Friday that the doctor office didn't submit my paperwork until Dec. 16th. I was so mad that the insurance coordinator lied. I would've never known had I not called UnitedHealthcare to see for myself what was going on with the progress of the approval. So still waiting patiently.

Hey! It really sucks that they lied to you! I'm sorry to hear that.

No, as far as I know, it has not been submitted to insurance yet. The case worker is pretty good with sending me emails with updates. The last one I received was that the surgeon has gotten the chart to approve. He has to approve it before it's sent to the insurance company. I got that on 22 Dec. I expect that it will be sent to the insurance company next week. I should get an answer about 15 days after that.
