Yes, I'm using Bariatric Advantage. My NUT thought they were the best ones.

The Calcium citrate (caramel) chewables are really delicious. I look forward to taking them. I take one in the morning and one at night.

I also take the ultra multi Vitamin with Iron in the middle of the day.

That spaces them out nicely so the Iron and Calcium don't cancel each other out.

I prefer whole food based Vitamins. They have micronutrients and cofactors that just can't be duplicated with synthesized vitamins. It's like eating an orange vs taking a Vitamin C tablet. I take a 1/2 dose of Garden of Life Vitamin Code for Women everyday plus Vitamin D 5000iu and B12 500mcg sublingual 3 days/week. I used to also take Iron and Calcium, but my 6 months labs showed these levels were high so I stopped those supplements. Everything else was spot on.

BA are great Vitamins, as well as Celebrex, fusion, and others. @@Kindle is right though, a more natural option is out there if that's what you want.

I'm using Bariatric Advantage Proteins and Vitamins. This is what my doctor requests for his patients. The vitamins are not offensive at all. I like the vanilla Protein best because you can do so much with it as the base of shakes.< /p>

I started using opurity Vitamins, one a day. Kind of chalky but they don't taste bad to me at all.

My surgery date is the 5th of Jan.

I'm already drinking a Protein shake every other day to prep for my Pre-op liquid diet that consists of eating as many green veggies I want along with 3 shakes a day. so far I like nectar, powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury and I will be trying Bariatric Advantage when my order comes in.

I take the Bariatric Advantage Vitamin capsules. They go down ok. I have to just take a min after I swallow them to make sure they are staying down Haven't had one come up yet. Whew!!

I did find that I have to take them after Breakfast and after lunch. I was taking them after Breakfast and dinner but it must have been to late cause I was waking up at night tasting them YUCK!! Now I don't have that problem.

Try looking at Bariatric Fusion. With these you do t have to add other, everything you need is in them. You take 3 a day, and they come in different flavors. You can chew them or just let them melt in your mouth. This is what my doctor recommended. You can find them on line, and some. Doctors carry it in there office.

I just got my samples of Bari-melts. I really like just letting them sit and dissolve in my mouth and they all taste pretty good. However, my Dr's office sells Celebrate Vitamins. After comparing ingredients, the Celebrate ones do have significantly higher levels of most Vitamins and minerals. However, after doing a little research online, the Bari-melts seem to comply with all of the bariatric recommendations.

The costs of the two different companies are not that different. I'll ask my dr at my pre-op visit next week. I'm sure he'll recommend the ones he sells but I'll be interested to know why he favors going so much over the US RDA.

I have always taken the Flintstones with Iron and my nutritionist said that was perfect. They are much less than the other Vitamins. I also eat yogurt smoothie and other milk products for my Calcium. I hope I can continue with that after my sleeve. I have the band now. Can't wait for it to come out.

I also tried to go as natural as possible with my Vitamins. My multi is a women's plus 40 by Garden of Life. and my B12 is by Nature's Bounty. My Vitamin D3 and Calicum Citrate are not that great. My mother picked them up for me and she's not as picky as I am. However, I'm hoping next week when I have my bloodwork checked I'll be off the Calcium pills.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
