I was wondering what surgeon in Nj did you choose and how your procedure went?

Dont know when but will have surgery my surgery at lourdess hospital, does anyone have horizon nj health insurance from state, and how long did it take to get approved?

I had my vertical sleeve done Dec 22nd in Vineland nj. Dr. Iqubal was my surgeon he is top notch. I traveled 2 hours to get to his office because I have Horizon NJ Health. It took 7 months of visits every 2 months before my surgery was approved. I am very happy and losing weight slowly but surely and feel better everyday. Great team of surgeons and office staff

Two hours? Where do you live? I have Horizon NJ and had no problem in Manahawkin NJ.

I went to Dr Trivedi at Advanced Laproscopic Associates in Paramus,NJ. Had the surgery done at Hackensack University Medical Center. Doctor is great, the nurse practitioner Nadia is awesome. After that the practice free falls. The receptionists seem bothered when you walk in, like in most Dr's offices I suppose . The 2 case managers I had were dumb, don't return phone calls and one barely spoke English. The nutritionists I saw just kept saying "follow what's on the sheet" and seemed like they couldn't wait to go. All that said I'd go back because of my Dr and the nurse practitioner. I now consult an outside nutritionist.

I had my procedure on 4-20-17 with dr Botvinov who is a partner with Dr Abkin in Edison and Florham park. Their staff is phenomenal and my procedure is going good so far although I do have really intense pain right now
