I did too in February on 20th and had lots of problems.

I just got home from the hospital yesterday, but I'm sipping broth, water , tea , sugar free ice , jello. Haven't tryed a protein shake yet.

Hi I'm Debra also had my surgery on the same day.

I'm also five days had to get hernia repair it was in esophagus my doctor made to tight and swollen up , wasn't able to pass the drink test . The swollen is going down now started drink again going down.

Three days post op feeling good and bad had a hernia repair done not working right still every swollen no water can though. Might have to have more surgery to fix it.

Here at the hospital waiting to go in for my surgery and to start my new journey.
