Does everyone lose a noticeable amount of hair?

My biggest worry is hairloss!!!!!! What can be done to minimize hair loss? I am having surgery 12/9 is there anything that a person should use before surgery to help with hair loss.

I'm losing hair about the same rate as after I gave birth to my children 20+ years ago. I notice it, my stylist can kind of see it, and my husband sees extra hair in the bathroom but that's it. Biotin is a no-go for me thanks to the way it accelerated ALL hair growth (ick) so I'm just dealing with it.

Ironically while my hair is fine, my fingernails are horrible. They only grow out a little bit then chip & split. I hate fake nails & overlays but I may do that to see if I can grow them out past the splitting point.

Omg yes!!!!! I always had long awesome nails strong, now they peel and chip and break. I like my nails kinda long but now I can't even do that. Yesterday I cut them all. So I'm gonna be bald with short nails ???????????????? I still would do the surgery again if I had to tho.
