Hi Janet; whoa did I miss something??? I NEVER have considered any of your comments untoward...

Perhaps someone just needs a good nap?

 WE LOVE YOU, more than better!!!

Candice - Hugs to you !!!! Thanks !!! I guess that my determination and wanting doctors to help their patients can be overbearing for some and I truly don't ever mean to offend - but I think that you all know that plus you are use to me .... Hugs and thanks for the support - I have been re-reading my post as it upsets me that I offended Ssankofa when that wasn't my intent - and I still don't see where I was offensive in any manner. - I didn't think she was getting the support from her doc's that she needs in this journey (so I was supporting her) - but I guess I just read something else into to it that wasn't there or maybe she did - it's done over and today is a new day - Good food choices - exercise and Water drinking :tt1:

Thanks for the encouragement guys. You really do understand--it helps.

Candice--hope your defill helped. I've been there too, and that constant waking up is horrible. I tried calling Lake Express and couldn't get a live person, but I did email them and will forward the reply when I get it.

Phyl--I get you on the weather thing. It's been cold here too. I am beginning to think that we're not going to need the AC at all this year. We get one or two days of 70s, and then it's back to cold and rain. We've had so much rain that DH can't even mow the back yard in some places b/c it's too wet. (we have about an acer that he mows) I live about 2 miles from a nice Lake Michigan beach, but it's too cold to go there.

Hey--one month till M of A! I am so pumped to finally meet you guys and spend a weekend together. Is Jackie coming too? I'm not going to buy anything between now and then. But when we get there I still need to get my mother of the groom dress and all new back to work clothes--maybe even in a size 10! Imagine that!!! (well, I know some of you are less than a 10, but for me a 10 is goal!) Janet--be sure to bring some things to sell! We have similar tastes--I can tell.

There's still time for the rest of you to join us. THINK about it!!!

Linda

Jackie says no she wasn't coming - but maybe - so hopefully she will surprise us and show up.

I would never sell my clothes I would happily give them to you - I have a couple tens (white capris & white jeans and some black docker capris) the rest are 12's - I will be sure to pack some of them - that way I will have room in my luggage for the new stuff I buy..

I forgot - we are going to get a dress for your son's wedding - how fun..

Steph & I will be hitting the QVC store - cuz we are QVC girls - If Densie was coming she would be right there with us cuz she's into QVC TOO :tt1:

Weird how I didn't "hear" the instructions about the spicy food before... but then its taken me almost a year to get to restriction....
I never heard this one either. It's taken me almost a year too to get restriction. Isn't it great? Wonder why it took so long?
Thanks for the encouragement guys. You really do understand--it helps.

Yeah, we all need that kick in the a$$ once in a while. I'm just glad you guys are here to give me a quick kick when I need it.

I've never choked on my spit, but when I lay flat, I'm constantly burping. BUT,,,,,I can live with that. Sometimes I think I might need a little tweeking but, dang, I don't want to be overfilled.

You sound like you're having the same weather we're having here in Michigan. But, the mosquitoes here are outrageous,.

Sure wish I could make it. It is just too much money for a week-end. Maybe if I were a size 10.....but the last tops I bought were 14-16. Not bad when you consider I started at 22 or 2-3X. Besides, the only time I was smaller than a 13 was in really expensive clothes.

There's still time for the rest of you to join us. THINK about it!!!

HAVE A GOOD DAY. DO AS I SAY AND NOT WHAT I DO. MAKE GOOD CHOICES.

Kari--You do realize that Candice will be shooting right past you on her way from Port Huron to Muskegon? OK, but start planning now on next year. We have a bond like none other, and we need to Celebrate that!

Yeah, I think you guys in MI have about the same weather as we in WI. It sure is a funny year.

Thanks Kari - I gained a pound when I went to my sisters on 6/13 so last weigh in was even 151 - and this morning finally got that pound off - I wanted to be 150 by the time I went to Vegas... Even in April - I did not think it was possible (it was like 16 lbs that I needed to lose in 6 weeks) but I did it...

It will come - I know how hard it is to be patient for that milestone - but you know what - 1 yr ago I really didn't beleived I would have ever gotten to goal.. Shows you how much I know...

Thanks Linda - Yep when I make up my mind - forget it - there is no changing it - just too bad that it has taken some many year just to get the determination that was needed- but better late than never.

This goes for all of us - Look at us - just a handful of the original lucky #7's that are still here - we all have the determination and mindset to make this work - that's why we are still here - we have all gone thru this journey together and without each other our successes wouldn't have been possible...

LUCKY #7'S - WE ARE FABULOUS WOMEN !!!

Linda; thanks for the cheers, I was just busting this morning... had to tell the world....

Oh and thanks for the Emails, the MofA trip is really looming ahead and I am getting real excited now.. I handed in my Calander of events for July to the Clinic and it makes it all seem real now...:blushing:

I WANNA RUN!!!!! I am upset cause I can't run. I know...day after tomorrow I get to run for almost 3 hours...but I wanna run today!

Karri, I just admire the fact that you HAVE TO exercise everyday now... its become a PART of you.. just like the old food habits WERE, but Now you do something possitive and different... and look how your body is thanking you!!!

I'll probably never be a runner, but I just finished 1 hour and 10 mins of biking with my DH... it was so much fun... the second time this week that I've done it...

My V-jay-jay is not toohappy today, but the sweating felt so good in the breeZe.

Tomorrow I'm off to Walmart to buy a GEL seat cover for my bike and possibly a helmet too.

See what your leading by example has done!!!!

Sounds so good. I'm gonna have to check with DH. It shouldn't be a problem, but I am not a car rider. But, if you're coming in through Port Huron and going down 69, you're within a half hour of my house. And, I can even sleep on the floor. Done it before. I gotta think about it. I do so want to go and meet evryone.

Janet-I got on the scale this morning and I MADE IT ! ! ! 190 lbs. 101 lbs lost. 35-40 more to goal. WHOO-HOO !!!

36_1_55.gif

Have a good time in Vegas, and remember..........don't lose your shirt. OOPS, should have said that hot dress.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
