I started drinking Protein coffee (decaf for me) and love it!

yes, Decaf for me also. I kicked a serious caffeine, from coffee, addiction during my 2 week pre op diet. I still miss real coffee, but haven't gone back to it.

OMG RUN don't walk to your local WM, Target, Kroger, Rite Aid, Whole Foods, Fresh Marktet.... wherevever you can find a store near you with this website http://www.bluediamond.com/applications/locator/index.cfm?navid=14

Blue Diamond NUT THINS! Small square crackers made with ALMONDS! Gluten Free and sooooo crunchy!

I love the Artesian varieties, sesame or flax seed. Perfect for dipping Hummus, or Guacamole, with cheese or whatever your snacking fancy. They have Fiber and Protein too!

If you miss CRUNCHY you have to try these! And I know I sound like a commercial, but I don't work for Blue Diamond I just love these that much!

My secret weapon is beef Jerky – low fat, high Protein, and really chewy. If you have a sodium problem you may need to be careful, but otherwise, it's a great snack – or Meal Replacement when you don't have time for anything else. On long car trips, whenever we stop for gas I buy a small bag of Jerky. It has replaced Wheat Thins as my travel munchie. But you'd better pack a toothpick!

I try not to snack at all, really. If I get hungry between meals, I usually reach for pure Protein like extra lean deli turkey slices, leftover roast chicken, or shrimp. Try to leave your fats and carbs for your regular meals and only snack when you are truly, truly hungry. :)

That's one way of doing things, but I have been successful (lost 130lbs and am below goal) doing the opposite. I eat small "meals" or "snacks" (semantics) all day long because I can't eat enough to only eat three times a day.

Different things work for different people. I eat Protein type Snacks like....

Laughing cow cheese w cucumber

Peanut or almond butter (no sugar) with celery

Deli meat roll ups with thin sliced cheese

Nuts

Jerky

Quest bars

Poached or rotisserie chicken with salsa or guacamole

Chilli

tuna salad w mayo, celery & green onion

Hummus with pretzel thins

Pepperoni "chips" with ranch

Boiled shrimp with cocktail sauce

It's a bit of an oxymoron to call them Snacks when your meals are so small. At this point 3 meals and 2 snacks often looks the same as 5 or 6 small meals. I'm just trying to get in 60+gms of Protein, 48 -64 ounces of Water each day and keep my carbs, fats, sugar & sodium low.

My go to Snacks are Jerky, mixed nuts, apples and Peanut Butter, edamame, and plain Greek yogurt flavored with Protein powder or Torani Syrup.< /p>

But last week I found a new favorite snack..... Prosciutto and cream cheese "roll ups". Mmmmmm......

I was worried about the carb content since it says rice on them. I was in a hurry so I didn't even pick them up to look when I saw that. .guess I'll look them up. :)

They call a serving 13 crackers/crisps... OMG I couldn't eat 13 if I tried.. anyway 13 crackers is 22 carbs /2 grams Fiber. So that is about 1.5 carbs per cracker. Yeah, but this is a snack not a meal... and 0 sugar, so I think they are the best crunchy cracker thing I have found... better than pretzels/chips/ritz.... you know.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
