Have i slipped my band?

okay so basically i am four months post op, and i think i slipped my band. I am having constant chest pain with sharp pains in my left shoulder/shoulder blade. the shoulder pain comes and goes randomly, while the chest pain is whenever i inhale deeply or when i cough. if anybody could tell me if it theres another possibility to what this might be? i am really scared to have slipped my band so soon and any advice or comment would be highly appreciated. oh and i forgot to mention my last fill was a bit too tight on me and I'm going to my doctor tomorrow to get some saline taken out. thing is its been tight for the passed three weeks so i have opted to drinking soups and "slider" foods to avoid throwing up, but i have thrown up a couple of times and I'm wondering how severe would the vomiting have to be that i would cause my band to slip? (the vomitting is usually once a day every 3 or 4 days)

best thing is to call your dr and make an appt and have them check it out. they would be the only ones to advise if you have a slip or not...eating too fast, too much at one time makes my chest hurt as well as my left shoulder. but if you hurt, go to the dr

Call your doctor. My band slipped after six months. I got a terrible case of stomach flu. I didn't feel "right" afterward. Throat was gurgling. Felt hard in my upper stomach.. But not stuck. Over the course of the next few days, terrible heart burn. Then even 3 bites of cottage cheese hurt. So... While everyone is different, your symptoms don't sound like mine. FYI... took liquid out, one week later, band in place. Taking it slow now. Good luck.
