If you are looking for a Meal Replacement shake Lean Shake 25 from GNC (premise) is really good. For just a supplement I like the Matrix nectar sweets Fuzzy Naval. I mix it with 6 oz Water and it actually tastes just like a fuzzy naval. 23 grams Protein and 100 calories. The vanilla Bean Torte is great mixed with hot water (130 degrees) and a spoon of instant Decaf coffee. 100 calories and 23 grams of protein. Tastes like a coffee house specialty drink. I ordered some sf pumpkin pie flavored Syrup to add to it Yummy!!

I didn't like any Protein Shakes. I finally found two I can tolerate. The chocolate is designer whey gourmet chocolate and sprouts brand whey Protein in vanilla, the vanilla one kinda smells like pineapple. I also like taking some high protein ff milk and put a teaspoon of Decaf instant coffee and some sf vanilla Syrup and a scoop of the vanilla protein. I put a little ice in it and it is delicious. I don't like coffee or protein shakes but I like this.

My absolute favorite is Inspire. You have to order it online but shipping is very quick. I purchased 2 bags when I had surgery in April. I still have a small amount of one bag left. Their flavors are amazing (I love the Peanut Butter cookie and the chocolate peanut butter cup!) This powder melts completely with no chunks and no aftertaste! I won't waste my money on anything else. I loose the best when I get at least one Protein Shake in a day!

I use Herbalife Meal Replacement shake mix and add their Protein Drink Mix. They have many different flavors to mix and match. I was at a serious plateau before adding these Herbalife products and could not lose any more weight. I know it was because I was unable to eat the amount of Protein I need everyday and a protein supplement powder alone was not giving me all the nutrients. For me it was not all about the protein but my other nutrient needs as well. A awesome added bonus is my increased energy level.

I mix the body fortress whey Protein powder with silk unsweetened vanilla almond milk. Get a shaker cup it mixes well with no clumps. It makes a thicker shake that stays with me longer. You can also add a bit of Fiber powder to help feel full but be careful with that.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
