Hurt our new tummy

Do you guys know what kind of food might irritate or hurt our new tummy ? I mean they always say stay away from sugar, caffeine, soda, etc... im 1 week post op and still not allowed to have yoghurt.. but still i dont know why.. might it be that some food might hurt us at this point ? Or hurt our tummy stitches..

Im 2 weeks post op now. Still now allowed to have pudding ! Still on juice, soup, fluids only !! Were u able to have greek yoghurt or pudding at this time?

Well to be honest ive been cheating. I had some chocolate pudding. He said its full fluid for the next 2 weeks.. but puddings are included in full fluid diets ! So why doent he like them :(

My Doctor told me that i'm progressing very quick and said I was okay to try different foods and if my tummy is okay with them then I'm okay with them. They said to make sure to take in lots of Protein.
