December surgery buddies

Hi everyone, I just wanted to say that I got a surgery date of December 9th! So excited! It still seems like a ways away but it is still set and it feels good to have a date!! So I posted in the December 2014 forum but it doesn't seem like anyone else with a December date has posted there yet?! Maybe it is still early, anyway I am really looking to keep in touch with people who are going through similar experiences as myself at similar times, so if anyone is having surgery in December say hello! Anyone else of course can say hello too!! SOO excited to be moving forward in my journey!

Hi, mine is December 15th!

I'm crazy excited. My surgery is at 10 am on Monday. So surreal that today is my last day of "normal" eating. I'm ready to leave bad habits behind and embrace this new challenge.

Me too! Mine is at 10:20 Monday and I'm spending today relaxing and spending time with my family. Sunday will be my cleaning and packing day!

I'll be thinking of all of you tomorrow that will be starting your journey at the same time as me. I'm so thankful for this supportive community!

Good luck for everyone who has surgery tomorrow. I go in at 7 am.. Congratulations on the new journey we are taking to better our health.. Speedy recovery n less pain to all..

I have spend my last day putting up Christmas lights and doing my last workout at the gym before tomorrow. I have to be at the hospital at 8:20, and I am really excited. I want to thank you all for you words of encouragement and support.

My surgery was December 3rd...everything went great with the surgery but this is a lot harder than I expected...but I'm staying positive :)

Thanks I'm trying to stay positive too. I agree it's a lot harder than I expected but Jesus has brought me through!????

I'm not gonna lie I have had quite a few breakdowns but a lot of it is because I have had such a hard time with these protein shakes and I feel like everything makes me want to gag...but other than that I think things are going well and I go to the Dr tomorrow so I'm excited!

I'm up early making sure I have packed everything I need for the hospital! I'm nervous and excited that today I start my new life!

I was the same way, I finally fell asleep around 3 and I was back up at 5:30am.
