Tootall,

This is how it was for ME.

17500.00 self pay.

Louisville Ky 2 hours away.

2 days after surgery I had just slight discomfort when I would bend down for something. I waited 7 days after surgery to start walking 1/2 mile per day.

Tootall,

I was a self-pay...it cost 15,000.00 in Texarkana, Tx...

The pain is not bad at all...you are really just sore....I agree with Edie, I was uncomfortable when I had to bend down....other than that it is not that bad...plus, you have some meds to take care of the discomfort...I also had a hernia repaired, so I had a little of discomfort from that....it is not a hard surgery to get thru...you will be up and going the same day...you will need to walk around the house the first day to get rid of the gas....they blow your stomach up with gas to be able to do the surgery...after the surgery you will feel the gas up in your chest and shoulders...mine was in my neck...that was not that bad....just walk and take the liquid gas-x and you will be fine...good luck to you..I hope that all goes well for you....
