I'm on my way to my first fill!!!!!!!!

Recommended Posts

Ok, here it goes!!! I've waited THREE MONTHS - and now I can finally get my first fill!

For Breakfast I had two soft boiled eggs, and just now I had a yogurt. I was only told no solids for 4 hour before the fill. I am SO nervous - but I'm VERY VERY VERY excited to finally be on my way to some restriction. I know I say I have none; but that's not really true - I do have restriction, but very little. I don't know what size band I have, or any of that; but…I'll find all this out at 3:00 today! Whoooooo hooooooooooooo!

AHHHHHHHHHHH - let some more weight loss begin! hehehehe

Sherilynn, congrats on finally getting your first fill. I can't imagine waiting that long. My doctor does the first fill at 6 weeks. Good luck with it. Julie

Hey Sherilynn,

No, I got 1cc yesterday for my first fill. I was asking because I did not think that docs fill over 2cc on the first time. Guess I was wrong.

How are you feeling? I know its only been a few days. Congratulations and keep up the great work with your weightloss!!!!

I just had to say I hope it went well for you...and my given name is SHERI LYNNE! I am 56! (It is unusual to see the first name spelled that way...and you are only one letter off my middle name....)....Hopefully all went well!

Could only have liquids today and then tomorrow mush. Kinda nervous about eating normal after that. Never know what to expect huh??

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
