Why did you choose gastric bypass.

I just learned my insurance doesn't cover gastric sleeve after 6 month preop appt and diet. So now my choice is lap bad or gastric bypass. Those are the only 2 my insurance will pay. I always though gastric bypass is too invasive and scary for some reasons. Any help?

@1naturalLuser that's great testimony that if all of us here could have lose it on our own will be done already. I'm still waiting on my insurance appeal because I think gastric sleeve might be less invasive. My insurance don't cover gastric sleeve. I don't know why I'm thinking that the sleeve is easier??? I'll give one more week and then I'll ask the dr to go and request insurance for gastric bypass. Good luck on your surgery
