Breast augmentation might be a real necessity in the future. Is anyone else remorseful about the loss of their boobs? I've already lost a cup size and could probably stand to lose a little more but, they've been a big part of my life since the 3rd grade before I was ever pudgy or fat. They'll never be the same.

Random update. I bought a new bra today after my post. It was a 38 like I suspected, but it was a DD. LOL.The boobs are still smaller than they used to be when I was a 44D.

I was a DD and now am an A. And most of the cup is just stuffed with all my extra skin.. Without the saggy skin I would probably be in a training bra because there's really no substance to them...just skin. And to tell you the truth I don't miss them AT ALL. I've never enjoyed trying to support the sisters my whole life. If I were to have plastics, I would get the skin removed and definitely not get augmentation. GOODBYE sisters, HELLO brothers!

Mine were so deflated after weight loss that I could pull the skin up like when you pull pantyhose away from your legs. They were that deflated. When I was on my back, those deflated sacks took a beeline for my armpits. Disgusting!

I had a breast lift, no implants, because I didn't want to be a bigger size, nor did I want to sign myself up to have surgery every 7-10 years. Those implants have a shelf life, and even if you get them at age 30, you're facing 5-6 replacement surgeries by the time you retire from working. Uhm, no thanks; that wasn't the choice for me. I am completely happy with just the relocation and not the implants, and I returned to my original, pre-fat bra size. My girls are situated right where they should be, and I don't have to wear a bra either. I still do though. My momma raised me that way. =)

There are new implants that will last a lifetime if you don't have complications. I'm the same size I was before I lost weight. I love my new boobs!

@@deedadumble, congrats on your new boobs! Implants just wasn't the choice for me. I have not heard of lifelong implants, but I even have a hard time accepting lifelong titanium staples in my body.

Implants have been around for it seems a gazillion years and if they've finally come up with one that doesn't require replacement, that's great. I know about the "gummy bear" implants that won't leak even when pierced, but never of any that can be permanently left in the body. If they've invented one....Cool. Yay for technology!

my wonderful husband of almost 23 years went through me and my dble mastectomy 15 years ago- so he's been fine with the "small" me up their LOL

after always being big - my reconstruction i insisted on small boobs

now they are small and "perky"

but remember i'm still as "cute as a button"
