I agree go to the ER!

Agreed! We all get spooked by body changes and adjustments in the beginning, but I think considering your recent medical history, no one in the ER would think you were overreacting. Get it checked immediately, and when you have time, let us know how it goes.

Oh my goodness! I hope you recover soon, and I agree with the others that you need to push for an ultrasound. Better safe than sorry, eh?

A blood clot can break off and lodge in your lungs, resulting in a pulmonary embolism. People have died from that. Get your leg checked ASAP...please!

thanks for all the advice. i did go get it checked out and i had blood clots in both of my lungs. i spent a week in the hospital again.there is a good chance this had nothing to do with my surgery but is actually from the accident i was in a week after. i got to come home today and i still get alil winded walking around but i think its getting better. i have to be on blood thinner for a few months. i have still lost weight last week even sitting in hospital all day which is good! now i have to get back on routine with my proper diet.

OMG, I am so glad you are OK. This is a good reminder to all of us to not disregard symptoms when our body is trying to tell us something. I am thankful that you asked questions and that you called your doctor.

Happy to hear that you are doing better. Upwards and onwards!

Really good reminder to listen to our bodies

Oh my god, what an ordeal! Well, very smart of you to listen to your body and have it checked out. I'm so glad you're doing ok now, and thank you for keeping us posted! Good luck on the rest of your recovery!
