hello and welcome! Hang in there, it does get better! Do you have meds for the acid/heartburn? If not, you might want to contact your surgeon to see about getting some.

tired - gas and acid Indigestion - heart burn are killing me.

welcome welcome welcome :)

wonderful group of people here :)

read and learn :)

use the search botton in the right hand corner :)

but we llllluv to answer any and all questions from newbies

you are only one week out!!!

these issues you talk about are common to many

as @@Sleevarilla said call your doc asking him to give you something for the acid/heartburn

or example, per my doc - i have taken Prilosa immediately PO :)

being wiped out/tired is also common

est, rest, rest - take things slowly (if you are able to) :)

family, friends around to help you??

when you are able to get out of the house- walk as much as possible (don't overdue - go slowly at first)

if you need to stay home, walk and walk around the house

make sure you drink plenty of Water (especially at this early stay)

popsicles are great

sip water very slowly!!

good luck :)

Shavonna, very happy for you. I would stay away from anything acidic like tomato Soup and fruit. Hang in there. You should feel good real soon. I never had a sick day and felt wonderful, and I feel bad for those who do not have it as easy. Always trust your body and gut instinct to tell you something is really wrong, but maybe having a restful weekend, you will feel better on Monday. Good luck!

Hang in there. You've got this!
