What's A Girl To Do???

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone!! It has been a while since I have been here, but it's good to be back. I have been banded for 2 years and 3 months. I originally lost 110 lbs. I became Pregnant in April of '06 and I have a beautiful 3 1/2 month old daughter. Well during my pregnancy, I had almost all of my fill removed(I WILL NEVER DO THAT AGAIN!!!), and I gained 60 lbs during my pregnancy. I have lost 25 lbs, but I have been at a stand still for the last month. I don't know what to do. I lost my weight pretty quickly the first time around, but now I can't seem to get going. My band is filled pretty tight, but the weight just isn't coming off...I really need to get this weight off!! Does anyone have any experience with having a baby and not being able to lose the weight. Any input would be helpful. :)

Thanks.

No baby experience but tell us about your daily menu, exercise, etc. and maybe we can help.

I can't seem to get any Breakfast down at all. I usually just drink a little juice and take my Vitamins. I have Soup or a small salad for lunch, and dinner is usually chicken or fish with salad. I snack a little in between some days, but mostly nothing. I have been walking every other day for the last 2 months, and I started Taebo 2 weeks ago. I think I may not be eating enough.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
