Back to bad habits ! HELP

Hi!

I was sleeves on July 14 2014 so I'm 5 weeks post op.

I started my regular food on my 4th week if not before and im a carb lover, actually that's all i used to eat

And im craving them a lot! I know i should be eating protein first but i dont end up doing that!

And when i eat, i feel full, but i keep eating! I dont know why im doing this to myself i feel like im stretching my stomach and that's terrible! Everyday i say I'll stop tomorrow but i just dont.

Breakfast and lunch are great and i know what to eat but the night is when everything is messed up. I think i need some motivation. Help please.

I also love cooking and found ways to tweak recipes so I could enjoy my favorite foods like zucchini crust pizza, turkey meatballs, grilled shrimp. I just roll my eyes when my family eat their burger king and keep with my plan, only 50 lbs more to lose.

It's all about choices. You have to decide what's more important to you, your health or the carb satisfaction? I am 5 months post op, and live with my carb loving family. There are chips, crackers, bread, cookies, etc. in my house at all times and I haven't eaten any for the past 8 months. I'm no saint or perfectionist (well, maybe a little of a perfectionist). What I am is a scaredy-cat! I am a carb addict and I'm scared that eating carbs will put me back on the weight loss roller coaster. I am also scared of heart attacks and other weight-induced diseases. I'm scared of being the fattest person in the room again. I'm scared of not fitting in the largest plus size at the store. I'm scared of not fitting on airplanes, AND I'm terrified of not being around to enjoy my children and grandchildren. So I choose to stay away from unhealthy food. I love carbs and I sorely miss them, but it's not worth it! Again, it's all about choice.
