All my required appointments complete! My 6 month medically supervised diet is complete with 10 lbs lost! Everything was submitted today! Yep, I am just a little excited!!! Now just waiting to hear on approval sometime next week.

Very exciting! When I first got on here and would read posts where people would say they had submitted to insurance, I would think, uh okay... But my doctor's office should submit to insurance this coming week and I'm so excited. Now I understand all those posts. I hope you hear back quickly.

Thank you ladies!!! Lexie~ When I first began looking at this site over 6 months ago, I thought the same thing too. It is a big accomplishment to make it through the 6 month supervised diet, change habits, adopt new ones and prepare as much as possible. Might as well make it worth my time, right? I feel really prepared and ready to finally do this. Now that all of the requirements are checked off, I am so excited for what is ahead of me in the next year!!! I can't wait!!! I did the 6 month diet lost 14 pounds and after shots for my back able to exercise. My paperwork was faxed a week and half and it's still pending. Now they want a record of my weight for 2012 ugh. Was working but as a temp didn't have insurance. Called my Dr. to have them fax my weight for the only time I went in only to call insurance on Friday still want to have them call now. No help from my advocate at western bariatric. So unhappy.

Oh my gosh! That is awful! I hope everything gets resolved for you quickly. It is so hard to wait. I am thankful that my insurance reviews stuff like this quickly.
