Protein Sugestions for Post-Op Liquid Diet

Hi!

I just got back from the hospital. I'm on the first stage of the liquid diet and I need 60gr of Protein intake. I have to drink PreProtein but It tastes so bad, It make my stomach feel weird. Can you please suggest any protein I can drink during this fase?

Thanks for your help.

Thanks. I'm not allowed to drink milk this week. See my fase 1 diet. 2onz every 30 minutes.

I drink the Special K protien drinks. I am 6 weeks post op and lost 80 lbs. good luck..

Gnc Lean shake 25 and Isopure is what I'm drinking for my Pre-op and will be my first few weeks Post-op as well. They both taste really good.

On the liquid phase I mixed my protein shakes with water.

I had to thin them out as well in the beginning.

I have gotten through these 6 post op weeks on syntrax nectar and I highly recommend them! They're the only ones that taste "normal" to me. Have you tried them? Some flavors mix nicely with water (iced tea, fruit punch, etc) and the more "desserty" flavors I mixed with soy milk(couldn't have lactose first month). 23 grams protein per serving (100 calories). Secondly the Fit Frappe line by Big Train is amazing.
